BRISTOL, Tenn. — June 14, 2026 — Jason Collins earned his second career victory in the JBS Equipment NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by Elite Motorsports, defeating Mike Stavrinos in the final round of the Super Grip NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals at Bristol Dragway.

The event, powered by Cardinal Insurance, marked the conclusion of the six-race regular season.

Stavrinos, the No. 1 qualifier, left the starting line early in the final, handing the victory to Collins. The win continued an impressive start to Collins’ NHRA Pro Mod career, with two victories and one runner-up finish in his last three appearances.

Collins overcame a dramatic second round after his car made contact with the center guard wall during the burnout. He recovered to defeat Travis Harvey before advancing past Stan Shelton in the semifinals.

The victory moved Collins into fourth place entering the five-race Road to the Championship.

Derek Menholt will begin the championship portion of the season as the points leader, followed by Stavrinos, Justin Bond, Collins and Stan Shelton.

The Road to the Championship begins June 25–28 at the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals in Norwalk, Ohio.
