Inaugural FuelTech “King of the Stripe" Competition: NHRA Pro Mod Series Announces $10,000 Prize for Best Average ET.

[BALL GROUND, GA] - [05/06/2024]: In partnership with FuelTech USA, the NHRA Pro Mod Series & Finish Line Consultants are proud to announce the launch of the highly anticipated "King of the Stripe” competition presented by FuelTech, offering a grand prize of $10,000 to the racer with the best average elapsed time (ET) across all ten events of the season.

"I love that we are doing something a bit different, choosing to crown a consistent racer across the 2024 season," said Luis De Leon, COO of FuelTech. "This King of the Stripe award recognizes the guys that have clocked great E.T’s across the whole season and averaged over the number of laps down the race track. Right now Lyle Barnett racing out of the Scott Tidwell Racing camp is leading the pack!"

The winner of the FuelTech "King of the Stripe" competition will be crowned at the conclusion of the NHRA Pro Mod season during the Las Vegas Nationals when we also crown the Championship winner. In addition to the title, the champion will receive a $10,000 check, recognizing their outstanding achievement throughout the season.
